Coastal Urge brings together all the best brands for active lifestyles that can carry you from your morning yoga session to date night, with a full beach day and adventure in between. Our product mix includes men's, women's and kid's clothing, swimwear and shoes, as well as paddleboards, bicycles, and baby joggers. Coastal Urge was inspired by the owners’ lives and interests. Both Catherine and Jeoffrey Nathan were raised along the coast and have since enjoyed those activities that come with a childhood spent on the water. So, together they started a store that would cater to those like-minded individuals who enjoy their days spent outdoors. Brands include Patagonia, The North Face, Mountain Hardware, Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide, Lilly Pulitzer, TOMS, Vibram Five Fingers, L Space, Vitamin A, Trina Turk and With standup paddleboarding (SUP) becoming increasingly popular, both locally and internationally, Coastal Urge also provides an outlet to keep standup paddleboarders on the water. They host numerous SUP events including the Annual Cold Stroke Classic, the Newport SUP Cup in Rhode Island and SUP Clinics, where you can demo different boards and paddles before making your purchase. These events, among others, have received national attention, by both the paddling circuits and the general public.
